The south bound lane and sidewalk of De Soto Street (closest to UPMC Presbyterian) will be closed between Terrace and O’Hara Streets from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. The north bound lane and sidewalk (closest to UPMC Western Psychiatric) will remain open.
The entrances to UPMC Presbyterian and Alan Magee Scaife Hall that are within the boundaries of this closure will not be accessible at this time. The loading dock for Alan Magee Scaife Hall will also be unavailable.
Flaggers will be present at the De Soto and Terrace Street bend by the Petersen Events Center and at the De Soto and O’Hara Street intersection to manage traffic by allowing drivers in both directions to take turns using the open lane.
