Engineering Department Drive will be partially closed to pedestrians and vehicles on Monday, October 14, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow the workers to safely pump concrete into the Benedum Hall sub-basement. The closure will begin at the intersection with Thackeray Avenue and continue through to the loading dock. The loading dock will remain accessible via Bouquet Street. There are several parking spaces that will not be available at this time. Detours and signs will be posted.

Local Traffic from Chesterfield Road and those looking to park in the Kaufmann Garage will be allowed access to this section under the supervision of a flagger.
Construction Alert: Partial Closure of Halket Street Tuesday, July 22 through Thursday, July 24
Halket Street will be partially closed beginning on Tuesday, July 22, and is expected to reopen by Thursday, July 24. The closure will occur between Fifth Avenue and Euler Way. Euler Way will remain open for left turns onto Halket Street, but no right turns will be permitted.
Pedestrians and cyclists should note that the sidewalk in this area will also be closed.

Robinson Street Extension will be partially closed on Saturday, July 19 and 26 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. These closures will impact the portion of the road in front of the Charles L. Cost baseball field near Champions Drive.
During these closures, flaggers will be present to alternate traffic flow through a single lane, so motorists will still be able to drive through the area.

North Bellefield Avenue will be partially closed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, July 21. The closure will take place in front of the Information Sciences Building between Bayard Street and Fifth Avenue. The western sidewalk and southbound lane will not be accessible. Please be aware that Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) has also closed a portion of this block, which makes the front entrance to the Music Building inaccessible. Those needing to access the Music Building should use the rear entrance via Ruskin Avenue.
