Engineering Department Drive will be partially closed to pedestrians and vehicles on Monday, October 14, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow the workers to safely pump concrete into the Benedum Hall sub-basement. The closure will begin at the intersection with Thackeray Avenue and continue through to the loading dock. The loading dock will remain accessible via Bouquet Street. There are several parking spaces that will not be available at this time. Detours and signs will be posted.

Terrace Street will be closed between Darragh and Lothrop Streets from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 17.
The sidewalk in front of Biomedical Science Tower will be closed as well, so pedestrians should cross to the north sidewalk at the nearest crosswalk in advance of the closure. The UPMC Presbyterian garage entrance on Terrace Street will not be available at this time. Those needing to park in the garage should use the entrance on Lothrop Street.

Fifth Avenue will be completely closed between McKee Place and Craft Avenue beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 19 through 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 21.
Local Traffic from Chesterfield Road and those looking to park in the Kaufmann Garage will be allowed access to this section under the supervision of a flagger.

The leftmost lane of Forbes Avenue between Meyran Avenue and Atwood Street will be closed on Thursday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be flaggers present to assist with traffic flow.
Since there is protective scaffolding in place, the sidewalk will remain open with flow managed by ground control personnel.
Construction Alert: O’Hara Street Paving to Close Multiple Roads November 24-25
To complete PWSA’s work on the O’Hara Street water line, the road will be milled and paved on November 24 and 25 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The road will be closed between De Soto Street and University Place. Due to the location of the paving, the following roads will also be closed: De Soto Street, North Bouquet Street, Thackeray Avenue, and Terrace Street (starting at Sutherland Drive).
