The outdoor fourth floor terrace of the University Club has undergone a renovation, which included stabilizing and repairing the historic railing, replacing a failing roof and saturated substrate under the existing pavers, and adding lighting. After repair, the historic railing was raised by 9.5 inches to allow for proper structural attachment, and necessary insulation and waterproofing was installed at the lower terrace. The added lights will be directed only on the terrace and will not serve as architectural lighting. The project was approved by the Historic Review Commission.
