As Director of Project Management with the University of Pittsburgh’s PDC department, Ron leads a team of nine design and project management professionals delivering capital projects for every facet of Pitt’s higher education enterprise. With career at the University spanning 21 years, project achievements include the Petersen Sports Complex, Public Safety Building, and public/private redevelopment of Bigelow Boulevard and Schenley Plaza. His departmental leadership achievements include the Institutional Master Plan, and transformation of the hillside through construction of a new recreation and wellness center, Arena and Sports Performance Center, and residential housing. In total, Ron’s career spans 34 years in planning, designing, and constructing transformative spaces and optimizing value of public and private real estate assets. Raised at the Jersey Shore, Ron is a Penn State graduate and a proud father of 4 children who call Pittsburgh home. Ron has a deep appreciation for the power of place and its impact on peoples’ social, economic, and educational environment.
